Repeating Your Message

Repeating your message.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live.

A real quick concept today and that is the concept of repeating your message.

If you’re doing any form of content marketing, which if you’re not, you should be okay.

Watch some of my other videos on content marketing over at BrianJPombo.com and you can learn a little bit more and see how it would fit your business. Because it’s definitely something you should be doing.

Content marketing is taking content, either video, audio, word content or picture content and spreading it out online content that can be consumed. Then somewhere along the line directs people back to what you’re selling, whatever it may be, whatever, whether you’re literally selling something or whether you’re selling an idea, a concept, something that you want people to do.

So that’s what content marketing is and you ought to be taking part in it, on it at least daily basis in your company, in your organization, whatever you’re doing, promoting yourself, whatever it be.

So that’s content marketing.

Now, the idea is if you’re doing stuff on a daily basis, there might be room for repetition in there. You might be saying the same things over and over again, especially if you have a real clear focused message that you’re trying to get out there.

In fact, I’ve probably mentioned this way too many times about the idea of how you should be repeating yourself.

You should be saying it again. Say it again a different way, but you ought to really play it again, Sam, and you ought to do it over and over and over again.

The plain fact of the matter is not enough. People are paying attention to you at any given time.

Let’s say you’re doing video, even if you’re getting thousands of views, these are not the same people viewing it every single time. Just because you have thousands and thousands of subscribers on YouTube does not mean those subscribers are watching every single video.

They just aren’t doing it.

Every once in awhile, especially if you have really engaging content, you will find people that will go through and watch every one of your videos. But you start doing videos on a daily basis.

People will not have a chance to catch up. They won’t do it. It won’t happen.

Even if they do your, the whole point of doing videos is that, or any form of content is that you’re encouraging some form of action.

If they haven’t taken that action, then the repetition is needed. You have to repeat it over and over. And I’m not saying say the same phrase over and over again, but talk about what you want them to do.

Talk about the same concepts over and over again until it sinks in. So for example, every episode that you can find within these videos of Brian J. Pombo Live, just about every last one.

I’m discussing something specific that I want the audience to do. For this first year, most of it’s been about DreamBizChat.com.

Have you been to DreamBizChat.com whether it applies to you or not. Most of the time I focus on talking to executives and business owners in the self-reliance space.

So meaning, you have products or services that help people to become more self reliant.

Now, if you fit that, I always encourage you to go to DreamBizChat.com and check out the concept of the dream business transformation.

It’s absolutely free if you qualify. So you go to DreamBizChat.com go check it out.

Now, how many people do I actually have going there?

Not as many people is what view these videos, because they’ve ever gotten there already.

They haven’t gone there and they need to go there.

And so I say it over and over again because these things are out there forever.

That’s the best thing about internet content. So much of it can be put out there for people. Waiting is a trap.

The search engines are, they have your content sitting out there waiting for people to type in just the right thing for your information to pop up and for them to do what you want them to do.

But it takes repetition.

You got to say the things over and over and over again. If you’ve been watching these long enough, you’ll know that a lot of the concepts I talk about over and over and over again, but I use them.

I talk about them in a different way every time. I try to at least try to bring up new examples where it fits.

So hopefully this is helpful to you.

Go out and get and get your content out there and start really getting your message far and wide to people and encourage people to take the next step. Hey, you have a great night. Get out there and let the magic happen.

Content Marketing: What’s Stopping You?

Content Marketing: What’s Stopping You?

Content Marketing: What’s stopping you?

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. Today we’re going to cover some of the areas of content marketing and really what is the main concept that stops most of us from doing it.

I know for years and years I’ve helped other people build their own content marketing empires, help set them up in podcasting, help them set up and video marketing, help them set up basically a long-term blogging careers and so forth.

One of the main issues was getting my own self there and getting to the point to where I could start doing content marketing on a regular basis.

It was coming to this one conclusion and it was even a conclusion that I had thought of for years and years but never believed it completely and never really knew where that line was drawn.

That is the conclusion that good enough is good enough.

You know, you just need to get to a point to where you aren’t wanting everything just perfect.

Like this backdrop here. I didn’t have any of this stuff set up when I first started doing videos and I slowly just kind of have put it together over time.

It’s not exactly what I wanted it to be, but at least I got something to look at that’s behind me. Before I just started, I just grabbed my phone. I don’t have a wonderful camera or anything. I don’t even have the best internet connection for a live video like this.

But I do it anyways because it good enough is good enough.

It’s more important that I start putting things out there and do it on a regular basis versus waiting. because when you wait, nothing happens.

When no content gets out, nothing occurs for you.

Unless you have a reputation that you’re trying to save, then trying to keep your reputation or it’s even created, doesn’t matter much.

Getting your business out there and in the public eye and having people talk about it or at least having yourself talk about it or make reference to it in your content marketing is what matters most.

It’s a quantity over quality, especially in the early days, don’t worry about having everything perfect.

Gary Vaynerchuk talks about this a lot. Just getting a lot of stuff out there on an ongoing basis is what matters most right now in terms of actually trying to gain some form of attention.

So for example, I had sent out a message, I’d seen a quote earlier today, and I’m going to talk about that quote tomorrow, but you can go and find it over at BrianJPombo.com’s Facebook page.

I saw this quote that had been put out by a Rick Cesari.

Rick Cesari wrote this book. I spoken about this before, By Now. It’s an awesome book all about television, direct marketing.

He talks all about very specific stories in the lessons that he learned by working with, he was one of the ones in charge of setting up the George Foreman Grill in an infomercial. And Oxyclean and Sonicare and all these other famous things that the only reason why they’re famous is because he understood the process of how to go about building that.

Anyways, he had put a quote out and I shared this quote and when I shared this quote, I had some other people looking at it and enjoying it, but also Rick saw it himself, which is pretty cool. And he commented and liked like the fact that I shared it and he also liked BrianJPombo.com on Facebook.

So, hi Rick. Welcome to the welcome to the gang and happy to see you here. And there’s a lot of attention out there that you could be getting from either individual people or your mass market in general if you just get out there and get moving.

I had a lot of great ideas on content marketing and really the energy that you ought to be putting towards it comes from this book.

I’ve mentioned Austin’s work before, called Show Your Work, by Austin Kleon.

In the first chapter there’s a couple of great quotes that he sourced. One is from Charlie Chaplin, it says that, all of us are amateurs, we don’t live long enough to be anything else. A lot of times we want to be seen more professional and everything else. We want everything to be just right before we start putting out content.

That isn’t necessary.

You just need to start putting out the content.

There’s another great quote from a Dan Harmon, of animation fame, Rick & Morty and so on and so forth. Find your voice shouted from the rooftops and keep doing it until the people that are looking for you find you.

Those are just a couple quotes that I think apply to this when it comes to content marketing.

It’s about getting the process going first for you. So that you can find your voice and start developing things and start developing what you know is going to be necessary to move your brand, your product, your message ahead. And doing it in social media is a great way to start because not everyone’s necessarily watching right away and it gives you a chance to kind of work out all the bugs, which we’ve talked about in the past, so don’t, don’t delay it.

I was discussing this with Sean Douglas, who we talk about all the time here, even though he’s not always on the show.

Sean is our producer of the podcast Off The Grid Biz and also of Brian J. Pombo Live here. And when we were talking back and forth, we were talking about what kind of gets us stuck in this mode, wanting to have everything perfect and it occurred to us was that school did this. That really modern day school, especially in the United States, the way it’s set up, it encourages you striving for perfection and nothing else. Anything short of 100% on a test is not good. The further away you are from it, it’s worse and worse and worse and worse.

And you say, well, yeah, but how else would you deal with something like that?

Well, when it comes to being an entrepreneur and being a business owner, the idea of trying to get 100% right off the bat just isn’t going to happen.

The whole idea, people who are rewarded the most when it comes to business are people that act the most.

It’s the doers.

It’s getting out there, putting it out there over and over and over again. Even if you fall flat on your face and if you go F, F, F, F, D-, F , D plus C -, you know, you work yourself into something, but you start from the very bottom and the only way you get out of it is through action.

And I know, I know I got caught up in college not feeling like I can really move because I knew I couldn’t. I wasn’t able to hit the level I needed to hit to pass the class or do whatever else.

I couldn’t keep my focus.

There’s a million reasons for that, but the system trains you to not want to fail. What you should want to do is you should want to fail.

You should want to get out there, you shouldn’t want to fall on your face, and now you have the ability to do it and have a whole bunch of people see you.

But honestly, right off the bat, they’re not going to. People aren’t going to see you.

So get out there, start the process, put some stuff out there.

Yeah, you may have some friends that see you.

Yeah, you may have some people that know you that will see it, but beyond that, not a whole lot of people are going to see it right off the bat.

It gives you a chance to build on content and it doesn’t matter whether it’s video like we’re doing here or audio like we take video from this and put it out via podcast or whether you’re doing any type of writing online or pictures, any type of visual art that you would put out online.

All those things are the same concept. Just do it and do it over and over and over again.

Lay it all out there, see what comes back, see what type of results you get from it.

See what people are saying and see what you think about it and where you’re taking your message, what’s the end game with it.

So that’s just a little piece on content marketing.

Good enough is good enough, get things moving.

That’s what’s most important.

When I started realizing that everything started to grow for my business. So that’s just a little tip for you.

Go and check out DreamBizChat.com. Especially if you are in the self-reliance field and if you’re an owner or an executive of a business that helps people to become more self reliant through your products and services, go check out DreamBizChat.com. There’s a quick video there.

We’re going to be back here tomorrow. So in the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

More New Years Resolutions for You?

More New Years Resolutions for You?

http://DreamBizChat.com

More new year’s resolutions for you?

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. Today we are discussing more new year’s resolutions here, getting real close to New Year’s Eve and eventually new year’s here for the year 2020. And the last two episodes we were discussing specific resolutions that you can do, especially regarding your business.

The first one would be to design a goal for a year long for your business. Have a very specific measurable goal.

The second thing we talked about was talking about picking a new form of media to get out of your marketing in or to communicate with your customers with.

And the third one would be the type of marketing I want you to try out this year. If you haven’t yet, I want you to try content marketing now.

I have a bunch of videos on this.

You’d go to BrianJPombo.com and check out the other videos we have on this, but go and look up anything on content marketing and the basic concept of content marketing is not just about marketing to people who don’t know you yet.

It’s marketing also to the people that know you.

It’s marketing to current customers, but putting out along with your marketing instead of saying, just buy this, buy that, talk about something of value for them.

Give them a little piece of value along with the marketing.

Have a form of content, have it be somewhat entertaining and useful to people. If you do that and you do that consistently throughout this next year, you’ll be very happy with the results. I guarantee it.

It will change your perspective. If nothing else, it will change your perspective of how you communicate with your customers and with your prospective customers.

So hopefully that’s helpful for you.

That’s a third, a third resolution. Maybe we’ll come up with another one for tomorrow. Hmm. I wonder if we will… We’re back here every day. Come on back.

If you happen to be in the self-reliance field, meaning you have a business, you own a business, or you’re an executive in a self-reliance based business, go to DreamBizChat.com.

Go and check that out while it’s still available.

And let me see…..also, if you want to find out anymore about me, like I said, you’d go to BrianJPombo.com if you’d like to communicate with me or be able to find out how I might be able to help your business.

I’m a business strategist. This is what I do.

Go to BrianJPombo.com and click on the link that makes the most sense to you or just watch or listen to some of my videos and audios.

Hey, you have a great night. In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Trump Impeachment & Your Business

Trump Impeachment & Your Business

http://DreamBizChat.com

Trump Impeachment & Your Business.

Can it help it?

Can it hurt it?

We’re going to talk about that today.

Hi I’m Brian Pombo welcome to Brian J. Pombo Live, which we go live every single day today from Grants Pass Oregon and these recordings are spread out throughout the internet so that you can be in contact and participate in a little back and forth.

If you have any questions, comments, or criticisms, please leave them wherever you’re seeing this video.

And you can always go to BrianJPombo.com/Media and be able watch any one of these videos.

If you clicked on this for the first time because you saw the headline of Trump Impeachment and your business. You might be curious as to how the Trump impeachment is going to affect your business if there is an impeachment, if the impeachment goes forward, if it doesn’t go forward, will it be good?

Will it be bad?

I’ll tell you how you could make it work either way.

It comes down to content marketing.

So what I’m doing right here is content marketing. I’m content marketing for BrianJPombo.com it’s a very specific type of site for business owners and this headline is going to get the attention of people who own a business in general.

Now, some of the people who watch the show don’t own a business, but a large majority of the people that watch us do own a business. They do practice business and I’m always looking to attract more people who own a business and think about these things.

So how can you use the Trump impeachment your benefit?

Whether it happens or doesn’t happen, but all the controversy around it.

See, I’m not even going to take a side. I’m going to completely let that pass. I’m not going to tell you what I think about Donald Trump.

I’m not going to tell you what I think about the impeachment.

I am using this to prove a point and I’m not using it just as clickbait. Just to bring you in.

I’m going to tell you, if you can take controversial topics of the day that are already in people’s minds and be able to interweave them in any way into a message that you’re trying to present out there to people, that that is a way to bring people in.

But to get people to listen because they’re going to listen a little bit more keenly because you have a conversation that’s already going on in their mind.

Do you have something that’s already in the forefront and gives you, gives them a chance to share a little bit about what you are all about.

So these are things you have to consider when you’re doing any form of content marketing.

It doesn’t just mean video.

It could be audio, it could be text, any form of text writing across the internet, articles, maybe blog entries. What ever it is, any form of content that you’re putting out there for people to see.

I don’t care if it’s an ad in a newspaper, any type of content that you’re putting out there on a regular basis.

You can always use news items to your benefit because it’s a way to bring people in and a way to connect with them on something that they already know exists.

So how did I come up with Trump Impeachment?

It’s really simple. I was looking for something to talk about today.

I pulled up a new site and what’s in the news?

What’s in the top of the news today?

Of course it’s all what’s having to do with the impeachment inquiry currently going on at the time of this video recording.

You can do the same thing.

Especially the most controversial websites.

The Drudge Report is a great one that a lot of people go to regardless of what you think about Matt Drudge or the way he runs his website.

He’s good at fomenting controversy and if you wanted to know what’s on people’s minds, you go to a website like that or any of the major news websites, anything that’s out there that is showing what people are already seeing, what people are already thinking of.

That’s just a quick little tip from me to you. I’ve got these tips every day.

Sometimes they’re a little bit more broad. Sometimes they’re a little bit more specific.

We’ll talk principles, we’ll talk strategies, and we’re going to talk tactics.

This is a nice, simple little tactic that you can use in your content marketing.

Hope you enjoyed it.

If you’d like to find out more about tactics like this, like I said, go to BrianJPombo.com.

If you are a business owner or an executive in the self-reliance field, meaning you’ve got products and services that help people to become more self reliant, then I’d love to talk with you.

Go to DreamBizChat.com for the Dream Business Transformation.

You could have a free opportunity to be able to talk directly to me and I can help you come up with some of these concepts for your business to take you from wherever you’re at to where you want to be and help you design a long-term strategy to get there.

So that’s free for me to you.

If you happen to be in the self-reliance field, DreamBizChat.com hope you have a great night. Come back again tomorrow and you have a great one. Get out there and let the magic happen.

Scared to Stand Out?

Scared to Stand Out?

http://DreamBizChat.com

Are you scared to stand out?

Hi, I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live coming to you every day here from Grants Pass Oregon.

Today we’re going to be talking about standing out specifically in the area of content marketing.

If you’re getting out there and doing any form of content marketing and what that would be is anything like writing, doing audio, doing video like this.

Putting yourself out there, putting your business out there, anything that involves people seeing you and your business on a regular basis. That’s what we’re talking about.

Are you scared to do that?

I’ll tell you why this came up. It’s because I was talking with my friends Jamie and Sandy. Hi Jamie and Sandy, they’re watchers of the show.

I was talking with them about their concept to start out with a podcast.

They have these ideas of putting together a podcast as soon as they go live, I’ll be sure and announce it here and we’ll send you a link for them because it’s pretty exciting about what they’re looking at doing.

As I was talking with them I remembered going through it my first time. Which was really earlier this year is when we started going live.

When we started the podcast, The Off The Grid Biz Podcast, which you can find it offthegridbiz.com.

And the Brian J. Pombo Live video cast, which also comes out in podcast form, which you may be listening to currently. We also have the video version of this that goes out live over currently over Facebook live and then spread out through all of the social media universe.

So when I first started out, the fear that’s always there, and even long before I started, but when I was tempted to start. When I was thinking about starting, one of the main fears that stops a person from going forward is the idea that you just don’t have it together enough yet, that you just can’t produce quality enough content for people to like that you’re just not going to be what you need to be. And it’s going to be embarrassing and it’s going to look bad on your business and it’s going to be out there in the internet forever.

The real problem with that idea is it’s a complete flaw because it takes into account that people are actually going to be paying attention and they’re not.

I hate to tell you, unless you already have a huge following that you are going to be putting this out to and in that case, more than likely they already LIKE you.

They already think something of you and you’re way ahead of the game to have a following like that.

But other than that, if you’re like most of us, you’re starting out pretty close at square one and you do not have a huge following, you do not have a huge audience.

It’s going to take a long time to build that up. If you’re not doing any type of paid advertising, anything of that sort, it’s going to take a while to build up momentum to where people are actually paying attention.

Look regardless of where you’re watching this, you can look and you’ll see there’s probably not a whole lot of views at the time that this is coming out.

I do not get a huge amount of views on most of this.

The ones that I do get though, both see me on LinkedIn when they see me on YouTube and they see it come up over and over and over again.

They don’t watch every single time, but they watch it every once in awhile and they’ll catch me and the people that I’ve brought on as clients and the people that I’ve started up relationships because of this. Because of this little interaction that we have here.

It all happened from them just watching a little bit at a time and starting from nothing and me doing everything by the seat of my pants in a sense, starting out from square one and learning how to do it every step of the way.

And watching other people and seeing how they do it and adapting and taking their ideas that I think might work. Trying them out and see if they fit my style and doing my own thing and keep building and building and building and building on it until we have something a little bit more valuable as we go along.

You just have to get out there and start it.

You’re in the meantime, the best thing and the worst thing is nobody’s watching, nobody’s listening, nobody’s watching and nobody’s reading.

So get out there and start your craft at the most important part is consistency.

Consistency is the key to content marketing.

Which is why I highly recommend any form of content marketing you do.

You have to have it on a schedule, you have to do it regularly, whether that be weekly, monthly, and I always prefer a daily thing, something that you’re doing at least five times a week that you can mark it off on the calendar over and over and over again.

It makes a difference. It’s just a little recommendation as you’re building out your content marketing empire. People that I work with specifically on the paid side. The people I work with tend to be business owners.

They tend to be executives at businesses that are already successful.

They already have a following and then they’re just trying to include some of these elements to create a more consistency to be able to grow what they currently have, to take whatever they’re currently doing and make it 10 times better.

If that sounds like you, go to BrianJPombo.com and sign up for a session with me.

If you are in the self-reliance field, meaning you’ve got products and services, you’re in some form of a niche or an industry that it helps people to become more self-reliant. Then go to DreamBizChat.com.

Made Content – Now What?

Made Content Now What?

http://DreamBizChat.com

So I made my content, now what?

Hi I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live. Today still in grants pass, but I’m coming to you from my car. Why? Because I was looking for that darn piece of mail that we were going to talk about today.

I thought it was at one place. It turned out it was at another and I’m looking all over for it. Can’t find it. I know where it’s at though now because a process of elimination, but today we’re not going to talk about that piece of mail.

Today we’re going to talk about something else.

Then tomorrow we’re going to talk about the piece of mail. Today we’re going to discuss content and how it fits, how it fits into any format that you put it into.

Because all of us have a favorite way of delivering content. If you’re doing any type of content marketing, if you’re not, you ought to be, go and check out my other videos that have to do with content marketing.

It’s good stuff, but content marketing is something you should be taking advantage of. It’s free to do. It’s available to everybody and you ought to be out there in some way. And then there’s three main ways that I would say online that you’re going to be doing.

You’re going to be doing one of these three, at least. You’re going to be either writing something or you’re going to be putting your voice out there, or you’re going to be doing video like I’m doing right now, which includes voice, but also the video and things.

So once you made your content, now what do you do with it?

What’s the point, next?

I want to talk about the point of Repurposing Content. This is a term, I don’t know who came up with this term and when it comes to content marketing, but it’s absolutely what you should be doing is Repurposing your Content.

I’ll give you an example.

Today, I just noticed that somebody that I had friended, this is a speaker who I saw, had to have been probably four or five years ago. I saw this speaker speak live. I went online. I saw that a bunch of my friends were friends with this speaker.

I’m going to be friends with them too because I got to meet him and everything. So I went friended him on Facebook and he’s not the youngest person in the world, so maybe he doesn’t use his Facebook that often.

Well he never friended me and he never, you know, ignored it or anything. It just never got friended and so and so I just kind of left it and I’m going, well maybe he doesn’t remember me anything, not that big a deal.

But what happens is out of nowhere today, he friends me back. So now I have access to a whole lot of stuff that he’s putting out there that I didn’t have access to before.

So I’m going through and I’m looking at his materials that he’s put out there and he had a blog post and it’s written out and it’s a good good size blog post.

This is a guy who is very energetic. He’s got a lot to say, he’s got a great voice and a great presentation style. I wish this was in video. I wish this wasn’t audio. I wish I could hear his voice saying this because it means more.

Everyone likes getting media the way that they like getting it.

I like getting a lot of audio.

I also don’t mind video depending on what the presentation is. So, that’s a great example of a situation where I really like getting my media through my ears and my eyes. I really do. I as opposed to having to read it, I would prefer listing to it.

Here’s another example. This is a older book. It’s called How To Make Maximum Money In Minimum Time, by a guy named Gary Halbert.

Gary Halbert’s, a famous a marketeer marketer, copywriter, and he had a number of newsletters, paper, physical newsletters that he sent out for years back in the eighties and nineties. And he took this book. This book is nothing more than a bunch of articles that he wrote for his newsletters. And all he did was add them all together, bound them up.

He’s got a book that’s re-purposing, taking one media, turning it into another form of media.

Now this is taking print and during it into print. I understand that, but he’s taking something that is considered a newsletter.

People think of a newsletter differently.

They think of a book, but all this is is different chapters in the book. He adds a little bit of an intro saying this was originally put in my newsletters.

Hope you find it useful. These are some of the top ones that I’ve, that I’ve enjoyed and I’m going to talk more about his ideas in the future because it’s great stuff, Gary Halbert.

But that’s a form of Repurposing. So you could do it within the same media. You could do it outside of that media. So for example, here I have a video. We take this video, Sean Douglas, our producer, takes this video.

He takes the audio from it and put that out there in podcast form.

So if you go and look for Brian J. Pombo Live in your favorite podcast provider, either Apple podcasts or Spotify or any of these places, you’ll find all these episodes in audio form.

If you’re watching this, then you’re possibly watching on Facebook. You could be watching it on YouTube, you could be watching on LinkedIn or Instagram, all the different places that we have the video available, and then we have it transcribed.

We take it to Temi.com which is a great transcription service, owned by rev.

If you may be with them and they transcribe this, we can then take that. What that does is it just takes what I’m saying and puts it into words. We take those words, put it on a blog post. Now we have a blog post.

If I were to take enough of those blog posts, toss them all together, I have a book.

You see re-purposing, do the content once, have it Repurposed over and over again, and you’re getting more use out of it. You’re expanding your audience because not everybody likes taking in content the same way.

Dan Kennedy’s Top 3 Growth Impactors

Dan Kennedy's Top 3 Growth Impactors

Dan’s Interview with Clint Arthur – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeY-kdvfFtU&feature=youtu.be

Dan Kennedy’s top three growth factors. Hi I’m Brian Pombo welcome back to the Orange Office in Grants Pass Oregon here once again for Brian J. Pombo Live.

Now we’re going to be talking about something that Dan Kennedy just recently brought up and yes, this is the same Dan Kennedy that a few days ago it was announced that he was in hospice and was not thinking that he’s going to be living much longer. We discussed that in some earlier videos. You can go back and look at that.

I wanted to bring up the latest interview that I’ve heard with him was done by a gentleman named Clint Arthur and I’m going to talk about that in a minute. I’ve also got the link in the description, so you can go check that out.

But if you are a business owner or an executive and you are looking to take your business from where it’s at to an absolute dream business, I’m going to encourage you to watch some more of my videos, see if we relate.

If we do go to DreamBizChat.com. At DreamBizChat.com you can watch the quick little video, eight and a half minutes long, gives you an idea of what I call the dream business transformation and if that’ll tell you whether you’d be a good fit for me or not. Just fill out the application and see if you qualify.

This video between Client and Dan is worth watching, worth listening to a Dan Kennedy’s half of it. He’s just coming in over the phone.

I wanted to point out one point that he made that I think applies well I know applies to you and applies to other people when it comes to businesses.

In our latest Off The Grid Biz Podcast episodes. We’ve been discussing, speaking and writing books and how that helps.

One of the things that Clint Arthur teaches is he teaches people how to do public speaking in order to promote whatever they’re looking to promote themselves, how to make themselves more of a celebrity or how, he calls it celebritize yourself.

I first ran into Clint Arthur is a few years back when he wrote a 21 Performance Secrets of Donald Trump. And it’s not a political book, but this was right when Donald Trump started running for president.

And all he did was he took a lot of the performance secrets that he could see exhibited that Donald Trump exhibited and he put it out in a book. So regardless of what you think about president Trump, these are lessons that you could learn that obviously eventually led to his becoming president. So it’s a great book. Great Book by Clinton Arthur. That’s when I was first introduced to him.

I think he did an interview for, I Love Marketing. I think that’s where I heard about him and I’ve been following him ever since. Really great guy. Interesting.

The reason why he was interviewing Dan Kennedy is he was supposed to attend this Living Legends of Entrepreneurial Marketing, which is happening at Carnegie Hall at the end of September.

You go find out more about that at livinglegends2019.com. That is Clint’s event. So you go check that out. I definitely recommend it.

And Martha Stewart is going to be there. A Dan Kennedy was meant to get a lifetime achievement award.

Whether he’ll be able to make it or not, it’s not looking like that’s the case, but from what we know, he’s still kicking. So hopefully Dan can pull through.

The three things that he mentions about business growth, it starts with Clint asking him, and it’s around six minutes in, where he’s asking him basically, Do you see anything that has a greater impact than speaking when it comes to business growth? In terms of your business?

Dan says, speaking has been by far the biggest boost to his business.

And he does a whole lot of things, but speaking has been huge piece of that. He goes through all the reasons why and how you can use speaking to increase your business or whatever deal that you’re working with and whatever you’re trying to promote.

So he says there’s nothing that works better than being on stage and being a walking, talking example of what you’re talking. Whatever you’re discussing, having that real tangible visibility makes the biggest difference for your business.

The second thing he says that other people work on, is getting themselves into the media. Which is another thing that Clint Arthur teaches is how to get yourself into media. That’s already out there.

So whether it be news media, whether it be entertainment, all the different forms of media that are out there. How you can insert yourself into that conversation.

He says that’s another big thing. That’s the second one that he recommends.

The third thing is writing and, or just pushing content, any form of content out into the world, similar to what we’re doing right here. Just pushing content out into the world.

If you’re able to do enough of that, that will also be a huge boost your business. So these are three things just off the top of his head that he says are some of the biggest, expansions in business growth.

These are some things, the tools that you can use. So those are three things. We talk about, all those things a lot here. And I look to talk more about in the future.

Dan Kennedy is very topical because of his recent announcement of being in hospice. So we hope Dan can pull through and even if he can’t, he’s, he’s lived one hell of a life. It’s been really great listening to a lot of his old audios and stuff that are out there, and it’s great to hear a fresh interview like this.

I’m not sure if this is the last interview that he’s done, but it’s worth going and listening to if you get a chance.

Tomorrow we’re going to be discussing another aspect of how you can be able to promote your business. So come back tomorrow. We’ll be talking about that. Then in the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Daily Grand Slams

http://DreamBizChat.com

Daily Grand Slams. Do you need to hit a grand slam every day? Hi, I’m Brian J. Pombo Welcome back to Brian J. Pombo Live today. We are still in Grants Pass.

I am sitting out in front of the Orange Office. Drove out here to go inside to record and go live to be able to see all you lovely people. Wasn’t quite able to make it in.

You may be able to guess from my voice that I am the walking dead right now. I’m quite sick and you may have noticed yesterday too.

But today it’s been trying, so they can’t all be grand slams. What’s a grand slam? If you’re not a baseball efficient auto than you don’t know that in baseball it’s the best thing. One of the best things that you can do is hit a grand slam, which is you’ve got three other people on base and you hit a home run. So you get four runs in, you’ve scored four points for your team. It’s one of the best things you can do.

You can’t always do it every day. It just probably is not realistic.

Every once in awhile the fate is gonna hand you a sticky, wicket and take you in a different direction.

So today’s one of those days. I wanted to come to you and discuss daily content in terms of information and how much information you should provide. We’re going to move that until tomorrow.

And so I could go into some more detail, bring out the dollar store whiteboard and kind of go through some ideas with you on that.

But for today, I just want to encourage you, if you’re a business owner or an executive in the self reliance space, go to DreamBizChat.com. Go and check out the video I have there. It’s only eight and a half minutes long. It goes by quick. I love to hear your feedback on it.

If you think you’d be interested, fill out the application. It’s all completely free. It’s a chance to be able to have a talk with me.

Trust me, I won’t get you sick. I’ve looked this up as a science. Supposedly you can’t get people sick over the interwebs.

We’ll see tomorrow. More details in terms of daily content. Just remember, if you’re doing it daily, it stacks up. It stacks up and stacks up and stacks up. So they don’t all have to be the greatest thing in the world.

Sometimes you’re going to be doing things that I guess you could say are a little bit more relatable where you’re not Mr or Mrs. Perfect. That you sometimes pretend to be, you know, so hopefully I don’t pretend to be that for you, but y’all have a great night and we will see you tomorrow.

Get out there and let the magic happen.

Daily Content Breakdown

Daily Content Breakdown

http://DreamBizChat.com

All right, if you’re interested in making daily content today, we’re going to be covering a daily content breakdown.

I’m Brian Pombo, welcome back to the Orange Office in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Today we’re talking about daily content and yesterday it was our 100th episode. During that episode I was backwards. Let me see am I backwards today? I think I am. Hold on, let me see if I can switch that. Can I switch it during the broadcast? Look at that. Wow. I should have done that yesterday. I didn’t notice until after I was done. It was completely backwards, the entire episode, I had the number 100 showing up on the screen and it showed up backwards as zero zero one which is interesting because the very first episode I did way back in April (It was May).

The first episode I had was also backwards and everything that I showed including the DreamBizChat.com cue card, including that it all showed up backwards.

Of course I did it again on the hundredth episode. So that was just a special little piece of entertainment just for you.

Today we’re going to break down daily content.

If you were thinking of putting out any form of daily content, a lot like some of the people that I’ve been talking to recently, I’m going to break down kind of the things that I’d encourage you to watch for.

These are three items and maybe I’ll go into more depth as we go along. But these are three items that are specifically from a guy named Frank Kern. He’s currently working with Grant Cardone and they have their own advertising agency called Cardone-Kern. You can find them at CardoneKern.com. I’m not here to advertise for them, I don’t get any payment from them or anything else.

But I’ve learned a lot from Frank Kern over the years and he’s been a huge encouragement to myself to actually put on daily content like I do here at Brian J. Pombo Live.

The three things that he says that you’re going to want to look for, that Frank Kern talks about, if you’re putting out any type of regular content, and I suggest daily are these three things.

Number one, Establishing Value, number two, Demonstrating Goodwill, and number three, Making Offers.

You’ll notice that every video that I do, I attempt in most cases to do each of those three things, so let me go through them. I’m going to give you my own definition. I don’t know if they’re Frank Kerns definition or not.

I’ll tell you how I define these and how I tie them back into these videos that you’re watching right now.

Number one, establishing value. Establishing value is in its most basic format. Establishing the fact that you’re going to be presenting value right here right now and that you present value or have something of value for people on a regular basis, either through your business or any point that you’re trying to get across, having something valuable.

I start every episode with a kind of a headline if you will. This is what we’re going to be talking about. Or this is a little curiosity piece that may give you an idea of what we’re going to be talking about and it just kinda starts the ball rolling and shows you that where we’re going.

I tried to put it in perspective of the person viewing or listening, so I’ll call it how to do this or the top such and such for this.

I want to grab attention and talk about it from their perspective as much as possible, as the viewers perspective, your perspective as much as possible. That’s how I go about establishing value.

Number two, demonstrating goodwill. Now in demonstrating goodwill. It’s actually in the process of, of providing value and there’s a whole lot of issues that go along with this, especially if you’re in a form of information or education business because you’re like, “how much do I give away?” How much is too much?

Everything else, tomorrow’s episode, we’re going to be talking about how much information is too much information to give. I’ve talked about it a little bit in past episodes, but we’re going to go into depth on that specific point because there are DreamBizChat.com.

If this is the first video you’ve seen, this is the first time you’ve seen this. Let me talk about this and if this is a video, if you’ve seen any of these videos before or heard any of these podcasts before, you’ve heard me discuss DreamBizChat.com and this is the offer that I make to a very specific crowd.

It’s a very small, small, small, tiny amount of the people who are watching or listening or reading the transcript of this afterwards.

This is for business owners and executives of companies that are in the self-reliance field, meaning they have product service or an overall storyline that encourages people to become more self reliant.

To work more for themselves, to do what they need to do to become as independent as possible.

Those are the people I’m going after and what I’m talking about is helping them go from where they’re at in their already successful business to an absolute dream business. That’s where I’m looking to take them.

If they go to DreamBizChat.com and if you’re one of those people, you go to DreamBizChat.com and go and watch the video there and it takes you through the process and to see if you can have the chance to have a free discussion with me in the future on the phone or on online video.

So that’s it. That’s the offer. That’s one of the simplest offers that I make. It’s not not selling anything, but you could sell something in an offer. It’s a very simple offer.

In my case, you could have it and won’t be more complicated. You could have it be something free. You could have it be something that people paid for. You could have it be something a little bit different every time.

Repetition helps in a sense because more than likely most people are not going to be catching all your videos, catching all your audio or can’t you go all your blogs.

Those are the three areas that I would recommend doing if you’re doing any form of daily content, either some type of video, some type of audio, audio, podcasts, something of that sort or some type of writing, some type of text.

Blogging is a common one that people talk about, but any of those three, if you’re doing those on a daily basis or regular basis, make an offer, have an offer involved somewhere in there. It does a whole lot of things. For one thing, it gives people something to do.

If they feel like they know, like, and trust you or they want to learn more about you, it gives them a direction to go.

And so for example, if you go to DreamBizChat.com, you could type this in or you could go to the description of wherever you’re watching and listening to this and you can find the link. You can either copy and paste it over if it’s not a live link, but in most cases it’s going to be a live link. You just click on and go straight over there.

Having that option for people makes a big difference. So these are the three ways, the three things that you want to have in some form in all of your content that you put out there.

There’s a couple other little things that I’ve learned along the way and I’m learning new things all the time or things to add and so forth.

I’ll give you an idea of one of the things that I have added is a tagline on the end. And kind of a similar flow in the very, very beginning, like I mentioned, having a headline, having kind of a low introduction piece. And at the very end I have a little tagline then I’m going to do right now, and that’s going to be the end of today’s show.

But tomorrow, like I mentioned, tomorrow we are going to be discussing information and how much is too much to give for free when you’re doing any form of content marketing and you’re providing free content out there when is too much, when are you giving away the farm, when you’re wanting people to give you money to be able to get that same information, what we’ll be talking about that tomorrow.

In the meantime, get out there and let the magic happen.

Rejection is NOT Your Problem

Rejection is NOT Your Problem

http://DreamBizChat.com
More Daily Vids➡️ – shorturl.at/ctAB4

You may have a lot of problems but rejection ain’t one of them. I’m Brian Pombo with BrianJPombo.com welcome back. We’re here every day at Brian J. Pombo Live.

I’m not in the Orange Office today, I am in Grants Pass. Decided to get outside, enjoy some of the nice weather.

Going back to this book, Start With No, by Jim Camp. Wanting to talk a little bit about rejection because it affects you even if you’re an ecommerce owner, even if you own….really no matter what, if you’re looking to do anything that we’ve been talking about.

Including a content marketing, rejection is always kinda there on the tip of your mind somewhere.

Everyone wants to be liked okay. To some extent or another, everyone wants to be liked or at least not disregarded and where does that come from?

What does it really come down to? And I found a great passage here from this book. I wanted to read it to you real quick.

It said, “Fear of rejection is a sign of neediness. Specifically the need to be liked. It’s imperative for the negotiator to understand what rejection is and who can reject you and who cannot. Here’s the point.

Your adversaries in a negotiation cannot reject you. There’s nothing you need from them, so how can they reject you? It’s impossible. The parent can reject a child because the child certainly needs the parent.

The spouse can reject the spouse. The teacher can even reject the student in the early grades when boy and girl truly does need this teacher, but can your adversary in a negotiation really reject you? They don’t have such power. Never, never allow them to believe they do. Rejection is a mentality.”

It’s a mental state and it comes back to neediness like we were talking about yesterday. If you have a neediness, if you have something that you need from the other person, if you need them to buy what you’re doing, if you need them to like you, that’s where your fear of rejection all comes from.

You get rid of the fear of rejection by getting rid of the need.

This is definitely ties in directly with what we were talking about yesterday. Be careful about rejection. If you fear rejection, you just got to back off from that.

The less you care about whether people like you or not, the less you care about whether people buy what you’re selling, the less you’re going to fear rejection.

And it doesn’t matter what the other party ends up saying. It doesn’t matter how people take you, when you put yourself out there on video or through a podcast or through a blog post. You’re just putting something out there.

If people like it, they can take it. If they don’t, they don’t need to. And I like how he compares it back to other things. If you listen to a lot of the language that we talk about rejection and desperation and neediness, it ties back into relationships.

If you’re needy for the other person, that person’s….for one thing, they’re not going to want to be around you as much. Everyone says they want to be needed, and in a sense I guess you could say to some extent, but it’s more like they just want to be liked and they want the other person to want them to like them. But in the long run, no one wants to be clung on to.

That’s why people are always running in a way from anybody that’s trying to really make a hard sale or anything of that sort.

So just be careful about that in your own business. Be careful about the fear of rejection, especially when it comes to developing any type of content marketing. If you are an owner or an executive in the self-reliance field, meaning you make products or develop services that help people to become more self reliant, go to DreamBizChat.com the link is in the description.

Go and check that out and tomorrow we are going to be switching gears again. We’re going to be talking about tactics that you could use online with video marketing specifically on Youtube.

This’ll help you, especially if you already do that, but if you don’t, it’ll give you some tips on how to go about doing it. We’re going to talk about that tomorrow.

Go to DreamBizChat.com otherwise, we’ll see you then get out there and let the magic happen.
